Lessons Learned about Strawberry Festival

It's been too long since I've written a blog post!  Here we are, just 27 days away from Strawberry Festival 2026 and I believe this is my 7th time being a vendor at this fun two day festival in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.  This is the 3rd time I will have my brick and mortar store for the festival.  So what strawberry lessons have I learned over these years?

1. This is a popular festival with good reason!  Yummy strawberries, summer weather, and the cutest town ever are just a few.
2. You guys love things with strawberries on them!  Last year I sold out of strawberry t-shirts by Saturday afternoon.  If you missed out last year, make sure to shop early!
3. Specializing in unique and artisan made products is lots of fun.  We have strawberry pottery that is made just for us. Our favorite watercolor artist has made Strawberry Festival prints and the cutest notepads just for our store. Our t-shirts, hats, stickers, magnets and pins are printed with our custom design that no one else has.  We love to create unique products for you!
   
4. These events can be tiring and hot!!  That's why we are so happy to be able to welcome you into our store!  It's air conditioned, we'll have fans and some strawberry water to get you ready to get back out there to enjoy the festival. 
5. Just when I think I know what people want and what sizes I need, I realize that I do not.  I'm always learning and adapting what I design and put on the store floor.  As a small business, I'm able to be very responsive to the customers' needs and grateful for the feedback I get from my customers.
